CNC Machinist - Backshift Hours: Backshift - Monday to Thursday 2:30PM - 11:00PM & Friday 2:30PM - 8:30PM Location: North Yorkshire DL10 Pay Rate: £17.41 per hour inclusive of 20% shift allowance Overtime Available Hambleton Steel are currently looking to recruit an experienced CNC Machinist / CNC Operative to join their growing production team on a permanent backshift basis. Pay Rates Basic Rate (including 20% shift allowance): £17.41 per hour Monday to Friday Overtime: £26.11 per hour Saturday Overtime: £21.76 per hour Duties & Responsibilities Efficient operation of all CNC machinery Following daily processing checklists on CNC machinery Monitoring machine performance, maintenance and operational requirements Identifying improvements and making recommendations to increase efficiency Liaising with Voortman engineers regarding machinery breakdowns Working closely with Supervisors, Chargehands and the Works Manager Maintaining safe and efficient working practices throughout the workshop Experience Preferred Voortman blast, saw and drill machinery experience Kaltenbach Profitline fittings machine experience Peddinghaus saw/drill experience Previous CNC machining/operating experience within heavy engineering or steel environments Benefits Permanent full-time role Overtime regularly available Stable and growing company Supportive workshop environment Competitive rates with shift allowance includedIf you are an experienced CNC Machinist looking for your next opportunity, apply today with your up-to-date CV.
