Job Title: Desktop Vehicle Damage Assessor – Home Based Salary: £40,000 – £45,000 (pro rata) | Job Type: Temporary / Self-Employed (Initial Contract with view to turning Permanent) Location: Remote (UK-based) Hours: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week Full Job Description Pybus Recruitment is currently recruiting for multiple Desktop Vehicle Damage Assessors / Estimators (VDAs) on behalf of one of the UK’s leading organisations in vehicle testing, inspection, and certification. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing team following a major new contract win, with roles offered initially on a self-employed or temporary contract basis, and a strong likelihood of becoming permanent upon successful completion of the trial period. Key Responsibilities * Assess vehicle damage remotely using images and supporting information * Produce accurate and cost-effective repair estimates * Liaise with relevant stakeholders to manage claims efficiently * Ensure all work complies with industry standards and company procedures * Deliver high levels of accuracy and attention to detail Requirements * Previous experience as a Vehicle Damage Assessor / Estimator * Familiar using Audatex or GT Motive * Background in a bodyshop or accident repair environment * Strong understanding of repair methods and estimating systems * Ability to work independently in a home-based setting * Strong communication and organisational skills * Available for an immediate or short notice start What’s On Offer * £40,000 – £45,000 (pro rata), depending on experience * Predominantly remote working with minimal travel * Opportunity to work with a market-leading organisation * Clear path to a permanent position * Supportive and professional working environment Application Process If you are an experienced VDA or Estimator and looking for a flexible, home-based opportunity, we’d love to hear from you.
