About the role

This role offers the opportunity to join a hands-on engineering environment, supporting the build, modification and testing of wiring harnesses and electrical systems for advanced vehicle and engineering programmes. Working closely with engineers and production teams, you will play an important role in ensuring high-quality electrical assemblies are delivered to specification and on time. The Harness Technician will be responsible for: Manufacturing, modifying and repairing wiring harnesses and loom assemblies Building assemblies from wiring diagrams, schematics and engineering drawings Carrying out cable preparation, crimping, connector installation and harness termination Supporting prototype, development and production build activities Identifying and resolving wiring, connectivity and assembly issues Recording build information and maintaining accurate quality documentation The Harness Technician will have: Experience building, modifying or repairing wiring harnesses and loom assemblies Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics and engineering drawings Experience with crimping, cable preparation and electrical assembly techniques Strong attention to detail and a quality-focused approach Good fault-finding and problem-solving skills Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment If you take pride in producing high-quality work and enjoy seeing your efforts contribute directly to the success of engineering projects, this could be an excellent opportunity to join a supportive and technically focused team.
