Our client
Our client is looking for an experienced Maintenance Team Leader to oversee the maintenance, inspection and safe operation of a diverse range facilities and equipment. This is a fantastic opportunity to combine practical maintenance expertise with team leadership in a fast-paced and highly rewarding environment.
Reporting to the General Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring all facilities remain safe, operational and maintained to the highest standards whilst helping to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
About the Role
Leading all maintenance activities across the site.
Managing inspection and maintenance programmes for facilities, equipment and PPE.
Ensuring all maintenance records and compliance documentation are accurately maintained.
Conducting risk assessments and implementing safe systems of work.
Supporting and developing maintenance team members through coaching and leadership.
Managing contractors and third-party inspectors on site.
Driving a strong health & safety culture throughout the business.
Monitoring maintenance budgets and identifying opportunities for efficiencies.
Supporting wider site operations and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
The right candidate will have:
Previous experience in a Maintenance Supervisor, Maintenance Manager, Facilities Manager or similar leadership role.
Strong knowledge of health & safety regulations and compliance requirements.
Experience managing planned preventative maintenance programmes.
Excellent people management and communication skills.
A proactive, hands-on approach with strong problem-solving abilities.
Experience working within manufacturing, engineering, construction, facilities, utilities or similar environments would be advantageous.
Passion for maintaining high standards and leading by example.
