About the role

Service Technician – Horticultural Machinery The Role Working closely with the Service Manager, you will take responsibility for maintaining, repairing, and servicing horticultural machinery provided through our sales department. This is a practical, hands-on role suited to someone with strong technical skills, a proactive mindset, and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service. Key Responsibilities Inspect, diagnose, and repair faults on a range of horticultural equipment Service and maintain machinery to ensure reliability and performance Work across various types of equipment, including grass, garden, utility, and small agricultural machines Troubleshoot hydraulic and electrical issues using up-to-date diagnostic tools and software Deliver a high level of customer service, both face-to-face and over the phone Operate effectively both independently and as part of a team Follow safe working practices, including handling heavier equipment when required (with appropriate support)About You Experience or knowledge of domestic or professional grass machinery is beneficial Solid understanding of horticultural, garden, utility, or small agricultural equipment Confident in identifying and resolving hydraulic and electrical problems Competent in using computers and diagnostic systems Self-driven, with the ability to take initiative Holds a full, clean UK driving licenceWhat You'll Get In Return Location: Saxmundham, Suffolk Hours: Full or Part Time available Hourly Paid Salary: £14.18 per hour plus car and phone Benefits: 32 days holiday (pro rata if part-time, inc bank holidays), workplace pension, life assurance, and more
