Maintenance Engineer Location- Warrington Salary- £50,500 per annum Shifts- Panama Shift Pattern (Days & Nights) Holidays- 25 Days Holiday The Opportunity We are recruiting a Maintenance Engineer to join a global, stable, and well-established business based in Warrington. This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer looking to develop their skills, with outstanding training and development available, including PLC programming courses (Profinet / Profibus). You’ll be working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, carrying out both mechanical and electrical maintenance on production machinery. Key Responsibilities Diagnosing and fault-finding mechanical and electrical issues Stripping down machinery and rebuilding equipment Replacing worn mechanical components such as bearings, sprockets, chains, and belts Electrical fault finding on control panels Changing and configuring inverters and drives Monitoring and supporting PLC-controlled systems Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance to minimise downtime Skills & Experience Required Proven experience as a Maintenance Engineer (mechanical, electrical, or multi-skilled) Strong fault-finding skills in industrial/manufacturing environments Experience working with PLC systems (training provided for advanced programming) Knowledge of inverters, drives, motors, and control panels Willingness to work a Panama shift pattern (days & nights) What’s On Offer Panama shift pattern offering work-life balance 25 days holiday + bank holidays Industry-leading training and development, including PLC programming (Profinet / Profibus) Secure role within a global and stable organisation Clear opportunities for career progression and upskilling ATA is committed to creating a diverse workforce and is an equal opportunities employer.
