Join a leading design and manufacturer of full turnkey projects for food processing & packaging machinery. Due to further growth within the business, they are looking for an experienced Stores Supervisor to lead the daily stores operation.
Role & Responsibilities of the Stores Supervisor:
Ensure efficient receipt, storage, control of goods in to support manufacturing
Distribution of materials, engineering components, consumables & tooling
Support despatch with packing and distribution of goods to customers
Supervisor & coordinate a small team of stores assistants
Stock counts, audits, investigation of errors, checking purchase orders against goods
Use of ERP/MRP systems to check stock movements
Make sure production kits and materials are prepared and issued timely to manufacturing
Knowledge, Skills & Experience needed to be the Stores Supervisor:
Experience within an engineering or manufacturing industry
Previously have worked stores, warehouse, logistics, inventory control type environment
Ideally have supervisor / team leader experience
Used ERP/MRP systems before, with good IT skills
Good understanding of stock control processes and material traceability
Strong organisational and communication skills
Able to prioritise workload and work effectively under pressure
