Stores Supervisor St Neots, Cambridgeshire £36,500 Monday-Friday Days Join a leading design and manufacturer of full turnkey projects for food processing & packaging machinery. Due to further growth within the business, they are looking for an experienced Stores Supervisor to lead the daily stores operation. Role & Responsibilities of the Stores Supervisor: Ensure efficient receipt, storage, control of goods in to support manufacturing Distribution of materials, engineering components, consumables & tooling Support despatch with packing and distribution of goods to customers Supervisor & coordinate a small team of stores assistants Stock counts, audits, investigation of errors, checking purchase orders against goods Use of ERP/MRP systems to check stock movements Make sure production kits and materials are prepared and issued timely to manufacturing Knowledge, Skills & Experience needed to be the Stores Supervisor: Experience within an engineering or manufacturing industry Previously have worked stores, warehouse, logistics, inventory control type environment Ideally have supervisor / team leader experience Used ERP/MRP systems before, with good IT skills Good understanding of stock control processes and material traceability Strong organisational and communication skills Able to prioritise workload and work effectively under pressure If you do not get a response back on your application within 24-48 hours please presume you are unsuccessful.
