Field Service Engineer – Software, Automation Midlands (Field-Based, UK Travel) Salary: £44,000 + Annual bonus 10% of salary + New Company Car + Benefits An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Field Service Engineer to join a global engineering business, supporting industrial tooling solutions across a UK-wide customer base. This is a field-based role offering autonomy, variety, and strong long-term career development. Installation, commissioning, and servicing of industrial tooling equipment Fault finding and performance optimisation on pneumatic, battery, and DC tools Support network installations and PLC integrations Calibration, testing, and certification of tools Preventative maintenance and pre-delivery inspections Identify service and upgrade opportunities and support wider sales activity Complete job reports, documentation, and service records HNC/HND or equivalent in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering Experience with industrial power tools or within a manufacturing/service environment Able to work independently in a field-based role Full UK driving licence Flexible approach to travel, including occasional overnight stays 10% annual bonus ~ Company car ~25 days holiday + bank holidays ~ Private healthcare ~ Pension scheme If you’re a motivated engineer looking for a field-based role with a reputable global business, we’d like to hear from you.
