Principal Mechanical Engineer - HVAC (Permanent)

Role- Principal Mechanical Design Engineer Type- Permanent They are looking for a Principal Mechanical Design Engineer to join their team in Surrey on a permanent basis. The Principal Design Engineer will ideally have the following attributes: ~ BSc / BEng in Mechanical / Automotive / Aerospace Engineering or similar ~5 or more years’ of industry experience working in similar Senior Mechanical or Design role ~ Good understanding of FEA, ANSYS, stress analysis, particle fluid simulation etc. ~ Be proficient using 3D CAD software such as SolidWorks, Creo, Inventor etc. ~ Good theoretical mechanical engineering knowledge of core principles and tight tolerances ~ Proficient using MS Office ~ Have the ability to work well alone as well as part of a small multi-disciplinary team The Principal Mechanical Engineer role will involve: Planning and overseeing the first build of new products and being involved in validation tests Using CAD for concept design and producing technical drawings Leading client projects to convert ideas into designs Perform development activities and find new mechanical solutions Being involved in the product design and development process using CAD Modelling, analysis and the development of mechanisms Involved in building and developing prototypes Holiday – 25+8 ~ Private healthcare ~7% Matched pension ~ Contribution package for relocation If you are interested in this position, please apply with an up to date CV as soon as possible, along with your availability and your salary expectation.
