Salary: £40,000

Hours: Monday–Friday, Dayshift – Early finishes on Friday

Key Responsibilities

• Perform planned preventive maintenance, reactive maintenance, and mechanical repairs across all areas of the plant.
• Diagnose mechanical faults and implement effective solutions to minimise downtime.
• Contribute to continuous improvement activities, equipment upgrades, and reliability-focused projects.
• Conduct mechanical inspections, strip-downs, refurbishments, and overhauls.
• Lead and support job change overs, ensuring tooling, machinery, and mechanical equipment are correctly adjusted, aligned, and prepared for production.
• Support long-term maintenance planning and reliability initiatives.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.

What We’re Looking For

• Time-served Mechanical Engineer or equivalent qualification.
• Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Strong mechanical fault-finding, fitting, and maintenance skills.
