Quality Engineer

Job Title: Quality Engineer Location: Cumbria Salary: £40,000 – £48,000 Overview We are seeking a Quality Engineer to support the delivery of high-quality engineering projects within a regulated environment. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong auditing and quality assurance experience to play a key role in maintaining standards and driving continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities Support and maintain the Quality Management System in line with ISO 9001 Conduct internal and external audits (Lead Auditor level) Review and manage Lifetime Records (LTRs) and Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) Ensure compliance with quality standards, procedures, and client requirements Identify non-conformances and support corrective/preventative actions Work closely with project and engineering teams to promote quality best practice  Requirements Experience in a Quality Engineer role within engineering or manufacturing Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 Certified Lead Auditor Experience with LTRs and ITPs Detail-oriented with strong communication skills  The NRL Group connect global companies with the right people to bring engineering projects to life.
