Ad Hoc Clinical Lead Nurse Location: Portsmouth Hours: Ad Hoc / Flexible Rate: £25–£35 per hour ontract: Temporary / Ad Hoc We’re looking for an experienced and compassionate Clinical Lead Nurse to join our team on a flexible, ad hoc basis. You’ll provide strong clinical leadership, support staff, and help maintain high standards of safe, effective and person-centred care . Key Responsibilities Provide clinical leadership and support to the nursing team. Oversee patient care, safety and clinical standards. Support staff with complex care and clinical decision-making. Ensure accurate care planning and clinical documentation. Promote compliance with policies, procedures and regulatory standards. Support audits, incident management and quality improvement. Work collaboratively with patients, families and healthcare professionals. About You You’ll be a confident Registered Nurse who: Holds current NMC registration . Has senior or clinical leadership experience. Has strong clinical knowledge and decision-making skills. Communicates confidently and works well independently. Is committed to compassionate, person-centred care. Can work flexibly to meet ad hoc staffing needs.
