HGV Technician - FMCG - Nuneaton - Up to £40,000 About the Company Our client is a well-established, market-leading business operating across multiple sectors within the food and agriculture industry. • Salary of £36,000 - £40,000 per year
• Company benefits package
• Full-time, permanent position
• 48 hours per week

HGV Technician - Requirements

• Full UK Driving Licence - HGV Class C+E licence is essential
• Hold an industry recognised qualification - City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3
• Previous HGV mechanical experience is essential
• Good knowledge of Health & Safety practices
• Excellent mechanical diagnostic skills and strong attention to detail
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work individually and as part of a team
• Able to effectively manage time and meet deadlines
• Good attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship

HGV Technician - Responsibilities

• Inspect, report, repair and service trailers, vehicles and factory transport
• Inspect and conduct pre-MOT checks to DVSA/VOSA standards
• Maintain general garage housekeeping to a high standard
• Complete all relevant paperwork in relation to the above tasks, as well as any other ad hoc duties as required
