Assembly Zone Leader

CMS Recruitment are currently working with a very well known manufacturer based in Gateshead. We are currently looking to recruit for a Assembly Zone Leader.

The Assembly Zone Leader is to manage the Assembly Team in order to achieve output targets whilst maintaining quality and health, safety and environmental standards

Key Tasks - Roles & Responsibilities

• Maintain Health & Safety and Environmental Standard
• Organise day to day activities of the team members
• Schedule teamwork and monitor performance to plan, taking corrective actions required
• Ensure team members are aware of the quality standards required
• Participate in root cause investigation via 8d methodology
• Ensure the Company's requirements on housekeeping are met
• Encourage continuous improvement throughout the team
• Develop and implement cost saving ideas
• Hold briefings with team members as required
• Identify training needs of team members and arrange for training as necessary
• Ensure team members understand what their responsibilities are, including formal performance reviews.
• Pass off production runs as required
• Setting of equipment in line with formal training
