Vehicle Technician

Our client, a renowned Jaguar & Land Rover specialist based in the Hailsham and Uckfield areas, is seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician to join their established and friendly, family-run team. This Vehicle Technician position offers the opportunity to work on both modern and classic models, within a trusted environment that values quality and professional growth. Benefits: * Competitive salary up to £48,000, dependent on experience * OTE circa £50,000 with generous bonus scheme * Monday to Friday working hours, with no weekends * Free Lunch Fridays and a supportive management team * Extensive on-the-job training on JLR systems and diagnostics * 20 days holiday plus bank holidays * Long-term stability and development opportunities within a reputable garage * Modern workshop equipment and diagnostic tools Duties of the Vehicle Technician: * Conduct comprehensive automotive services and repairs in line with manufacturer standards * Perform diagnostics and fault-finding on Jaguar, Land Rover, and Range Rover vehicles * Carry out routine servicing and repairs across a range of models as a Vehicle Technician * Maintain efficiency without compromising quality of work * Complete vehicle health checks and liaise with service advisors regarding findings * Ensure all work is completed safely, professionally, and within specified timeframes * Accurately use in-house DMS systems and adhere to workshop procedures Requirements: * Previous experience in automotive repair as a Vehicle Technician * NVQ Level 2 qualification or equivalent; experience may be considered in lieu * Ideally 5 years' experience working on Jaguar, Land Rover, or Range Rover models * Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Good communication skills, capable of explaining technical information clearly * Full UK driving licence is essential * Land Rover or Jaguar experience is preferred but not essential Contact Martin Bane, Automotive Recruitment Specialist at Perfect Placement covering Uckfield and East Sussex, today to discover more about this fantastic Vehicle Technician opportunity.
