A large and well-regarded secondary school in Northumberland is looking for a calm and resilient Behaviour Support Assistant to join the team.

The Role

As a Behaviour Support Assistant, you will:

• Support students across KS3 and KS4 with behaviour and engagement
• Work 1:1 and in small groups with pupils who need additional support
• Help manage behaviour in a calm, consistent, and positive way
• Support students with SEMH needs, including emotional regulation
• De-escalate situations and help students refocus on learning
• Work closely with teaching and pastoral staff to implement strategies

You’ll play a key role in helping students feel supported and ready to learn.
