The Role Deliver engaging Science lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (all specialisms-Biology, Chemistry, and Physics-are welcome). Plan and prepare high-quality resources that cater to a range of learning abilities. Assess student progress and use data to inform future planning and interventions. Maintain a positive learning environment through effective classroom management and building strong rapport with students. Contribute to the wider school community, attending departmental meetings and parents' evenings where required. The Ideal Candidate Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or QTLS is essential. Strong subject knowledge and a genuine passion for the Science curriculum. Proven track record of raising student attainment and engagement. Adaptable and resilient, with the ability to fit seamlessly into an established team. Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one). Why Join This School?
