You’ll have both the resilience and gravitas to successfully support to clients and the wider team.You’ll hold a variety of responsibilities and complete a wide range of exciting and challenging work that includes frequent client contact, participating in new business activity, arranging events and marketing.Our Account Directors are ambitious and proactive.They deliver business impact for our clients through their understanding of the industries in which they operate. They’re passionate about the world of media and communications and keep up to date with its developments.AD's ensure all accounts are running smoothly, with a core focus on accuracy, attention to detail and meticulous planning.Essential skills and experiences:Minimum of 5+ years communications experience – preferably with some Capital Markets experienceInterest and enthusiasm for the City and Capital Markets communicationsPassion for the media, current affairs and businessExcellent verbal and written communication skills with good attention to detailAnalytical, creative and inquisitiveTime management skills, including adapting to changing priorities and multi-tasking to deliver to deadlines, as well as a flexible attitude to working out of hours on occasions when requiredA strong understanding of the media, with the communication and business skills needed to run accountsAble to handle RNS news announcements including managing client sign offGood understanding of the role of social media and broader digital landscapeRecognises a crisis situation and knows how to escalate responsePreferable but not essential skills and experiences:o Effective at delivering financial calendar communications programmeso Developing advisory skills and growing awareness of regulatory best practiceo Able to judge a material price sensitive issue and seek senior counselo Developing a network of City contacts as well as financial/ business mediaResponsibilities:Running a broad range of tasks and supporting other Capital Markets team membersCompiling coverage reports, researchDay to day client contact and managing relationships where appropriateProvision of advice and guidance to clientsInsuring efficient, high-quality day to day delivery of client programmesDriving and coordinating media and analyst relations activityDrafting written materials that are well-informed and audience appropriate, requiring minimal input from senior team membersAssisting in the development of new business proposals and pitch presentationsPlanning and managing the organisation of client eventsAssisting in the nurturing of junior team members including on-the-job coachingDrafting press releases and handling RNS announcementsBuilding media and sell-side analyst relations skillsSocial media engagementThe role offers a strong focus on personal development with access to formal training programmesTEAM LEWIS is a global marketing agency that has moved from start-up to multi-national in a little over two decades.
