Maintenance Electrician

Maintenance Electrician Huddersfield Area Permanent 6-2 / 2-10 Our client, a large manufacturing business based near Huddersfield, have an immediate requirement to recruit a well versed Maintenance Electrician. Key Responsibilities: Part of a multi-skilled team, you will be involved in all aspects of electrical work in a high quality, fast paced manufacturing site working on existing plant and the development of new plant and machinery. * Installation and wiring * Facilities maintenance * Plant and machinery * Panels and control systems * Breakdowns and repairs Formal Qualifications * A City and Guilds or similar qualification in Electrical Maintenance (Apprenticeship) * City & Guilds 18th Edition * GCSE or equivalent in Maths and English Personal Skills * Understanding of H&S procedures * Team player * Positive attitude * Creative and able to work under own initiative and also as part of a team * Ability to work under pressure Work/Relevant Experience * Experience in a similar role * Experience working with machine and plant maintenance and breakdowns * Experience working in a manufacturing environment * Computer literate * Holds a good understanding of general engineering principles * Installation and Wiring Experience * Panels & control Systems Experience * Familiar with PLC controls and programming * Knowledge of PID temperature controls This is a permanent position where you will be expected to work the following hours: Week 1 - 6am to 2pm Monday to Thursday and 6am to 11:30am Friday Week 2 - 2pm to 10pm Monday to Thursday and 11:30am - 5pm on a Friday In return you can expect a salary of £38610 - £44101.
