You will deliver engaging, well-planned History lessons that inspire curiosity, critical thinking, and academic progress. You will join an outstanding West London school where teaching and learning are valued and supported.
Key responsibilities include:
Planning and delivering high-quality History lessons in line with the national curriculum
Creating an engaging, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment
Assessing, tracking, and supporting student progress effectively
Maintaining strong classroom behaviour in line with school policies
Supporting pupils of mixed abilities to achieve outstanding outcomes
Working collaboratively within an outstanding Humanities department and wider school team
Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a relevant teaching qualification
Proven experience teaching History at secondary level
Strong subject knowledge and confident classroom management
Ability to engage and motivate students across Key Stages
Professional, reliable, and adaptable approach
Enhanced DBS check xwzovoh (or willingness to obtain one)
Right to work in the UK
Relevant professional references
