Pay Rate: up to £23.53 per hour
Job Type : 4 on 4 off, Nights, Shunting (Terberg), 2 - 5 Day Training (Fully Paid), Temp - Perm (FT after 13 weeks)
Job Summary:
Challenge Trg Recruitment is looking for HGV Shunter Drivers to work In RUNCORN .
Working for one of the biggest and most prestigious brands in the drinks industry, you will be part of a fast-growing team with an excellent fleet of vehicles available to you,
** Minimum of 6 month HGV Class 1 experience required and previous Shunting experience**
Role :
Yard Shunting between sites
Moving trailers/tankers
Moving Curtains/Loading and Unloading units
PM shifts
Must be physically fit
Walking involved from site to Terberg car park
Uncoupling of Units
Movement of Curtain side vehicles.
Unstrapping curtains
Constant contact with FLT drivers
About You:
Valid UK C+E (Class 1) Licence with Minimum 6 months Class 1 driving experience required
DCPC Qualification Card and Digital Tachograph
Experience in Shunter work
Understand and able to comply with Driver's hours and WTD legislation
Able to understand and carry out necessary vehicle checks to ensure vehicle safety and able to report defects correctly
Excellent communication skills with a flexible, can-do attitude
