PDI Technician

We are currently seeking an experienced PDI Technician to join our client’s reputable dealership in Exeter. Benefits: Competitive basic salary of up to £32,000 per annum, dependant on experience Potential to earn an OTE of up to £38,000+ for top performers Ongoing training and professional development programmes Clear opportunities for career progression within a well-established dealership Supportive team environment and state-of-the-art facilities Monday to Friday working scheduleDuties of a PDI Technician: Conduct pre-delivery inspections (PDI) on a wide range of vehicles to ensure compliance with quality standards Service and repair vehicles with accuracy and attention to detail Liaise with the sales team to prepare vehicles for customer handover Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using manufacturer-standard tools and software Maintain accurate records of work carried out and parts used Uphold health and safety standards at all times and ensure workshop organisation Ensure consistent quality and efficiency in all tasks undertakenRequirements of a PDI Technician: Proven experience as a PDI Technician or similar role within the automotive sector Comprehensive knowledge of vehicle systems, diagnostics, and repair techniques Full UK driving licence is essential Ability to work efficiently under pressure and deliver high standards of workmanship Strong communication skills with a customer-focused approach Relevant qualifications in vehicle repair and diagnostics are highly desirableIf you are eager to take the next step in your automotive career and want to find out more about this PDI Technician vacancy, please get in touch.
