Senior Quantity Surveyor

Senior Quantity Surveyor Glasgow First People Solutions are recruiting for an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a well-established and highly respected contractor based in Glasgow. This is an excellent opportunity to join a business with a strong pipeline of work across major infrastructure and civil engineering projects throughout Scotland, with a particular focus on Scottish Water frameworks. The successful candidate will play a key role in the commercial management of projects from pre-construction through to final account, working closely with operational teams and senior management to ensure successful project delivery. Key Responsibilities: Managing the commercial performance of multiple projects Preparing valuations, applications for payment, and final accounts Managing subcontractor procurement, payments, and accounts Producing accurate cost reports and forecasts Identifying and managing commercial risks and opportunities Supporting operational teams throughout project delivery Maintaining strong client and stakeholder relationships Requirements: Minimum 5 years' experience within a Quantity Surveying role, ideally within civil engineering or infrastructure projects Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, Construction Management, or a related discipline Previous experience working on Scottish Water frameworks is beneficial Experience operating at Senior QS level or ready to step into a senior role Strong contractual and commercial awareness Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively Full UK driving licence What's on Offer: Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package Long-term secured work through framework agreements Opportunity to work on major infrastructure projects across Scotland Supportive and collaborative working environment Clear opportunities for career progression If you would be interested in discussing the opportunity further, apply now or get in touch for a confidential conversation.
