Your new school Full Time | Autumn Term | Leicester We are seeking a dedicated and resilient Science Teacher to join a supportive Alternative Provision setting for the Autumn Term on a full-time basis.This is a rewarding opportunity to make a genuine impact, teaching KS3 and KS4 students who require a more personalised and supportive approach to education. Your new role As a full-time Science Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and accessible KS3 and KS4 Science lessons throughout the Autumn term. You will adapt your teaching to meet a range of needs, including students with SEMH and additional learning needs, and play a key role in supporting both academic progress and personal development. You will: Plan and deliver differentiated Science lessons Support pupils in re-engaging with education Manage behaviour positively using a consistent approach Work closely with pastoral staff and support teams Contribute to a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment What you'll need to succeed Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent Experience teaching Science at KS3 and KS4 Strong behaviour management and relationship-building skills A patient, resilient, and empathetic approach A genuine passion for supporting students with additional needsExperience within an Alternative Provision, PRU, or SEN setting is desirable, but not essential.
