You will deliver the highest level of customer service throughout a university's estates, and will assist with the installation, operation, maintenance, fault finding, testing, repairs, and modifications of electrical systems, fire systems, boiler plant and controls, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.

Location: Newcastle Under Lyme
Employment: Contract, 7 weeks (probable extension)
Full Time 38.5 Hours
£23 per hour
Role and Responsibilities include:
Work closely with other trades within the estates & development directorate to coordinate the necessary works to be carried out
Responding to calls for urgent work which may occur outside normal working hours and carrying out planned work outside normal working hours utilising University vehicles and equipment as necessary.
Participate in team briefings and 'toolbox talks' to improve the service provided

Qualifications Required:
A time served apprenticeship with a craft qualification equivalent to a City & Guilds Certificate (C&G236 Part 2) or equivalent.
IEE Wiring Regulations 17th Edition (BS7671)
City & Guilds 2391 Electrical Inspection & Testing or equivalent. xwzovoh
Experience in installing, operating, maintaining, and improving building services for a sizable organisation with a sizable portfolio of properties
