An established accountancy practice with a strong presence across Lincolnshire is seeking an experienced accountant to join its Bourne office. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who can confidently manage a set of accounts from start to finish, take responsibility for client relationships and handle a varied workload across accounts, tax, bookkeeping and VAT.

Role Responsibilities

• Preparing a portfolio of accounts from initial bookkeeping through to completion and finalisation following review.
• Preparing and assisting with the completion of tax returns, where required.
• Managing bookkeeping and VAT work for a portfolio of clients.
• Dealing directly with clients, answering queries and providing day-to-day accounting support.
• Supporting clients with cloud-based accounting software and helping them make effective use of their systems.
• Liaising closely with the Partner responsible for the Bourne office and its client portfolio.
• Taking responsibility for your own workload and ensuring accounts and other client work are completed accurately and efficiently.
• Working collaboratively with colleagues across the wider practice and other offices where appropriate.
