About the job Due to ongoing business growth, Safe Environment now requires a self-motivated, punctual Asbestos Surveyor.

Responsibilities/duties:
- Driving throughout the UK with average 2-3 nights overnight per week (overnight allowance paid)
- Carrying our HSG264 compliant Commercial and Domestic Management and R&D Asbestos Surveys, and Re-inspections
- Undertaking Compliance and Safety auditing of asbestos works
- Offering technical advice/expertise to other staff
- Assisting with other duties as required.
Required Knowledge, Qualifications and Experience:
- BOHS P402/equivalent -At least two years experience asbestos surveying across all building types/sectors
- Full, driving licence (
- 2 x References Desired additions:
- BOHS P405, P403, P404, P406
- IOSH Managing Safely/SMSTS
- IPAF/PASMA ]
- Cat B/C Asbestos Removal Training
- Experience in managing teams and client/account management
- A track record of working with teams and managing survey projects by prioritising workloads and delivering deadlines Essential Attributes:
- Punctual, committed and self motivated
- Taking pride in your work and achievements
- Diligent and tenacious approach to meeting tight deadlines
- Friendly, calm and professional manner
- Enthusiastic and willing to learn
- Work effectively as part of a team
- Excellent and adaptable communication skills
- Be able to work at heights Hours will be between 40-50 per week inclusive of travel/driving.
Salary & Benefits
- £37,000
- £45,000 per annum (depending on experience and skills)
