We are a growing independent vehicle body repair specialist looking for an experienced *Senior Panel Technician* to join our team.
This is a key role within the business and an opportunity to become part of a workshop focused on:
* High-quality repairs
* Manufacturer repair methods
* Continuous improvement
* Strong customer service
* Long-term growth
We are currently progressing towards *BS10125 Structural accreditation*, so we are looking for someone who takes real pride in their work and understands the importance of repairing vehicles properly.
The Role
You will be responsible for carrying out:
* Structural and cosmetic panel repairs
* Jig and structural alignment work
* Aluminium repairs and welding
* Plastic repairs
* Accurate repair planning and damage assessment
* Supporting workshop flow and organisation
* Maintaining high repair standards throughout the workshop
This role is more than just repairing panels.
We need someone who can:
* Think ahead
* Solve problems
* Keep work moving
* Lead by example when required
What We’re Looking ForEssential:
* Senior panel technician experience (20 + years)
* Competent in structural repairs
* Strong repair skills across steel and aluminium
* Aluminium welding certification
* ATA or City & Guilds qualified
* Excellent organisation and workshop awareness
* Able to work independently and within a team
Desirable:
* EV Level 3 qualification
* Experience working within BS10125 environments
* Leadership or mentoring experience
