An exceptional opportunity has arisen for a passionate and hands-on General Manager to lead a beautiful boutique waterside hotel set within a truly stunning rural location.
This charming property offers fewer than 20 beautifully appointed bedrooms, a highly regarded dining experience, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere that encourages guests to relax, reconnect, and return time and time again.
We are looking for an engaging and commercially minded hospitality professional who genuinely loves the guest journey and thrives within intimate, service-led hotel environments.

The Role

Take full operational responsibility for the hotel, restaurant, and guest experience
Lead from the front with a visible and hands-on management style
Inspire and develop a close-knit hospitality team
Drive exceptional service standards across all areas of the business
Oversee budgets, forecasting, payroll, and financial performance
Maximise occupancy, revenue, and guest satisfaction
Work closely with ownership on future growth and development plans
Ensure the property maintains its warm, personal, and welcoming culture

About You

Previous experience as a Hotel General Manager or senior operational leader within a boutique 3 or 4 star hotel environment
Passionate about hospitality, guest experience, and team culture
Strong commercial and financial acumen
Comfortable operating within a highly hands-on role
Experience working within rural or destination-led properties would be highly advantageous
Relocation for the role will be essential
Understanding and appreciation of the lifestyle and operational challenges associated with remote/rural hospitality environments

Package

£50,000 - £55,000 basic salary
