Job Description: Job Title: CNC Miller Setter/Operator/Programmer – Night Shift Location: Ashton-under-Lyne Salary: £19.95 - £23.94ph (including shift allowance) The Company: A highly reputable and growing precision engineering business specialising in the production of complex medium to heavy components for a diverse range of industries. This is a great opportunity for a CNC Miller Setter/Operator/Programmer to join a skilled and supportive team. Working Hours: Night Shift – Full-time Shifts: Monday – Thursday: 18:00 – 06:00 (4 x 12-hour shifts) - constant nights, 4 day week. The CNC Miller Setter/Operator/Programmer will be responsible for setting, operating, and programming CNC milling machines using Fanuc control systems. Working from detailed customer drawings and specifications, you will produce high-quality medium to heavy components to tight tolerances. The CNC Miller Setter/Operator/Programmer will also utilise CAD/CAM software such as Cimco or Fusion for programming tasks. This role requires a high level of independence, and the CNC Miller Setter/Operator/Programmer will be expected to carry out self-inspection to ensure all work meets strict quality standards. Skills & Experience: * Experience working as a CNC Miller Setter/Operator/Programmer * Strong knowledge of Fanuc control systems * Experience using CAD/CAM software such as Cimco or Fusion * Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings * Experience machining medium to heavy components * Ability to self-inspect work and maintain high quality standards * Willingness to work overtime when required Why Should You Apply?
