SEN Teaching Assistant (1:1 – Year 6) – Crewe Area | September Start Crewe Area | Full-Time | Long-Term Role Pay: £90 – £105 per day (DOE) Hours: 8:30am – 3:30pm | September Start Supportive Village Primary School Astro Education is working with a welcoming village primary school near Crewe to recruit a 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant to support a pupil in Year 6. The school offers a supportive, community-focused environment, making it an excellent setting for both staff and pupils. The Role You will be supporting a Year 6 pupil with autism on a 1:1 basis. * Providing structured, consistent support throughout the school day * Supporting communication and engagement in learning * Working closely with teaching staff and SENCO * Helping the pupil access the curriculum and prepare for transition The pupil is non-violent, but communication can be a challenge, so patience and adaptability are key.
