VEHICLE TECHNICIAN / MOT TESTER (CONTRACT) – DARTFORD Position: Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester Location: Dartford (DA1) Rate: £24.00 Per Hour (Outside IR35) VEHICLE TECHNICIAN / MOT TESTER – THE ROLE: We are currently looking for fully qualified Vehicle Technicians to work at our client’s workshop on an ongoing contractual basis. You will be responsible for carrying out service and maintenance work on a wide range of motor vehicles, alongside MOT Testing to DVSA standards. The contract is outside IR35 and the rate on offer is £24.00 per hour. VEHICLE TECHNICIAN / MOT TESTER – SKILLS REQUIRED: * Qualified to Level 3 NVQ/City & Guilds or similar in the relevant disciplines. * You must hold a valid MOT Testing License. * Experience carrying out repair and service work to a variety of vehicles. * Ability to diagnose and rectify a wide range of mechanical & electrical vehicle faults. * Knowledge of health and safety practices in the workshop. * UK Driving License and possess your own tools. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills. * Ability to work as part of a productive team. * Time management and organizational skills.
