We are looking for a dynamic and committed individual to provide leadership to the paediatric team, helping build a safe, high-quality service providing excellent care to children, young people and their families. You will support the CYP development across the centre departments including paediatric competencies for all healthcare professionals involved in children and young people, including Theatre Practitioners and Day Case Nurses. This role will require oversight of clinical practice, resource management, clinician engagement, safe staffing provision and financial management, to ensure that the centre meets all regulatory requirements and safety standards. Deliver specialist clinical care to Children & Young People (CYP), including assessment, care planning, implementation and evaluation. Lead and develop nurse-led services, including surgical pre-assessment and support during investigations and procedures. Recognise and manage clinical emergencies in collaboration with the medical team. Work collaboratively within the multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, high-quality, evidence-based care. Develop, implement and audit service-specific policies, guidelines and quality improvement initiatives. Lead, mentor and support CYP nursing staff, acting as a professional role model. Coordinate CYP nursing activity to ensure safe staffing levels and effective daily service delivery. Lead and participate in education, training and practice development programmes. Participate in quality assurance, audit, incident review and performance improvement (QAPI) processes. Ensure compliance with professional standards, safeguarding requirements and regulatory frameworks (including NMC Code). Registered Paediatric Nurse with valid NMC Registration Proven leadership experience in a senior nursing or clinical management role Able to demonstrate achievement & service development in a Band 6 setting If you know someone who may be interested in this or other roles in a new private hospital, we offer a £500 voucher referral reward for every successful recommendation.
