About the role

MFL Teacher Newport September Start | £172.98+ per day Aspire People are working in partnership with a popular secondary school based in Newport to recruit a dedicated and inspiring Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) Teacher for a September 2026 start. The successful candidate will be required to deliver Spanish, French and/or German, providing engaging and inclusive lessons that inspire pupils to develop confidence and fluency in modern foreign languages. The role is suitable for both experienced teachers and strong ECTs. The Role: Teaching Spanish, French and German across Key Stages 3 and 4 Planning and delivering creative, engaging MFL lessons Maintaining high expectations for behaviour, progress and achievement Assessing, monitoring and supporting pupil progress Working collaboratively within the MFL department and wider school team The Ideal Candidate Will: Hold QTS or a recognised UK teaching qualification Have experience teaching Spanish, French and/or German in a UK secondary school Demonstrate strong classroom and behaviour management skills Be able to build positive relationships with pupils and staff Have a passion for languages and inclusive teaching practices What Aspire People Offer: Competitive daily rate of £172.98 per day Dedicated consultant support Opportunities in well‑established schools across South Wales Full compliance and safeguarding support Requirements: Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or willingness to apply) EWC registration (or willingness to register) Right to work in the UK If you are an enthusiastic MFL Teacher able to cover Spanish, French and German and are seeking a September start in Newport, we would love to hear from you.
