About the role
Simply Education is working in partnership with a welcoming and supportive school in Northampton to recruit an experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA).
The following information provides an overview of the skills, qualities, and qualifications needed for this role.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident and proactive HLTA to play a key role in supporting teaching and learning across the school.
The role will involve working closely with teachers, leading interventions, and occasionally covering classes, helping to ensure all pupils make strong progress.
The Role: Full-time HLTA position Delivering lessons and covering classes in the absence of the teacher Supporting pupils in small groups and on a 1:1 basis Leading targeted interventions to raise attainment Assisting with planning, assessment, and classroom delivery Promoting positive behaviour and engagement across the school The Ideal Candidate: HLTA qualification or equivalent experience Previous experience working within a primary or secondary school setting Confident leading a classroom and supporting learning independently Strong behaviour management skills Passionate about supporting pupils of all abilities, including those xwzovoh with additional needs What Simply Education Offers: Dedicated consultant support throughout your placement Access to a wide range of roles across Northamptonshire Ongoing CPD and training opportunities Competitive rates of pay If you are an experienced HLTA looking for your next opportunity in Northampton, we would love to hear from you.
