About the role
Complete Classroom Services (CCS) are working in partnership with a welcoming and well-established coeducational secondary school to recruit a passionate and dedicated Science Teacher.
This is an excellent opportunity to join an Ofsted-rated “Good” 11–16 secondary school with a supportive leadership team, strong behaviour policies, and a positive learning environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging Science lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, preparing students for GCSE examinations in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics (Combined or Triple Science), and supporting pupils to achieve their full academic potential.
The school welcomes applications from both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs), offering excellent support and development opportunities.
The Role:
* Teaching Science across KS3 and KS4
* Planning, preparing, and delivering high-quality lessons across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics
* Delivering either Combined Science and/or Triple Science GCSE content
* Monitoring and assessing student progress
* Conducting practical experiments in line with health and safety requirements
* Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment
* Supporting students of varying abilities to achieve strong outcomes
* Working collaboratively with the wider Science department and school staff
The Ideal Candidate Will:
* Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Have experience teaching Science within a UK secondary school setting
* Demonstrate strong classroom and behaviour management skills
* Have strong subject knowledge across Biology, Chemistry, and Physics
* Be passionate about raising attainment and student engagement
* Have excellent communication and organisational skills
* Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
