Assembly Operative

I am recruiting for an Assembly Technician for my client in Htchin,Hertfordshire. This role is a temporary ongoing position and may lead to a permanent position for the right person. This role is an immediate start. To manufacture component parts and assembly, hand tools, gauges and measuring equipment is used daily. To work to the specified quality and time standard. To perform quality assurance and product testing as directed by Company procedures. To perform other duties as directed which are compatible with the skills, knowledge and experience stated for this job, or for which training has been provided. Working Conditions: General factory environment. Some manual handling and lifting of materials is required. Knowledge and qualifications: Good spoken and written English and number literate. No formal qualifications are required. Experience, Attitudes and behaviors: Familiar with general factory work, or assembly of small components, and able to follow written or verbal instructions. Possessing manual dexterity and able to work as part of a team with minimal supervision. This role is working Monday to Thursday 06.00-16.15.
