Roofer / Solar Panel Installer

A well-funded, fast-growing company transforming the solar installation and Virtual Power Plant (VPP) sector is seeking a skilled and motivated Solar Installer / Roofer to join their growing renewable energy team.

The Role

The Solar Installer/Roofer, will be responsible for the safe and efficient installation of solar photovoltaic (PV) systems on residential and small commercial properties, with a strong focus on roofing integration and structural integrity.

Key Responsibilities

• Install solar photovoltaic (PV) systems on residential and small commercial properties
• Carry out roof preparation, mounting system installation, and panel fitting
• Ensure all roofing work is completed to a high standard, maintaining weatherproofing and structural integrity
• Work closely with experienced electricians to support AC/DC installation requirements
• Adhere to all health & safety regulations and industry best practices
• Maintain a clean and organised worksite
• Deliver excellent workmanship and customer service on every project

Requirements

• Previous experience in solar PV installation and/or roofing is highly desirable
• Strong practical skills and a good understanding of construction or roofing practices
• Ability to work at heights and in outdoor environments
• Good teamwork skills and a positive, can-do attitude
• Full UK driving license
