Health Care Assistant or Phlebotomist

Phlebotomists / HCAs Needed – Greater Edinburgh Mobile sites across the Lothians Up to £19 per hour (umbrella) + weekend enhancements Starting July | Ongoing project Pulse AHP’s Phlebotomy Team is recruiting experienced Phlebotomists / Healthcare Support Workers to support an established health research programme as it moves into its next phase. This is a flexible, shift-based role (similar to bank work), ideal if you’re looking for part-time hours or a second role . We’re looking for candidates who can commit to at least 2 days per week within a 7-day service . The Role You’ll be working on mobile research units across the Greater Edinburgh area (locations rotate every 5–6 weeks), supporting participants through: Venepuncture (2 blood samples per participant) Height, weight & waist measurements BP and heart rate checks Data input onto clinical systems Participant welfare checks and escalation where needed Preparing samples for courier collection Essential Requirements Minimum 12 months recent phlebotomy experience HCA / clinical support experience Ability to work 2–3 days per week Willingness to register fully with Pulse Driving licence highly beneficial due to mobile sites Expected locations over coming months Dalkeith | Livingston | Witburn (and surrounding areas) Please advise if you would be interested in this vacancy
