Trainer

Trainer Leicester | Food Manufacturing | £30,000 Great trainers don't just teach people what to do. They help people become better at what they do. We're looking for a Trainer to join a successful food manufacturing business, helping develop skills, improve performance and build confidence across the production team. This is a hands-on role where you'll deliver practical training, assess competency, support new starters and work closely with managers to identify and close skills gaps. What you'll be doing Delivering on-the-job training across production teams Supporting onboarding and ongoing development of employees Conducting competency assessments and maintaining training records Managing training matrices and learning systems Working with operational leaders to identify training needs Promoting food safety, health & safety and best practice standards Supporting continuous improvement and operational change projects What we're looking for Experience within food manufacturing or a production environment Previous training, coaching or mentoring experience Strong communication and organisational skills Experience with competency assessments and training records Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office A positive, approachable style with a passion for developing people Train the Trainer qualifications are beneficial but not essential.
