About the role

24 hours per week including overnight support. £13.45 per hour Are you interested in working for an award winning social care charity? Personal Assistants (Support Workers) have the most important role within Enable by making a positive difference every day to the lives of the people we support. No two days are the same for our Personal Assistants but what we can guarantee is that you will be supporting someone who requires support to achieve their goals and outcomes – whatever they may be! Each person we support has different support requirements, so your role as Support Worker may include assisting them with various aspects of personal care, moving and handling or positive behavioural support whilst expanding their social networks and connections. Enable creates a bespoke team around every individual we support, and our team of Personal Assistants work collaboratively to ensure the safety, wellbeing and aspirations of the people we support are met. Logan is looking for a personal assistant to support him one day a week for 24 hours, 8am-8am. Logan needs support to get ready for the day, administration of medication and meal preparation. In the morning Logan enjoys listening to his radio. In the afternoon Logan enjoys being driven in his own car to a specific train station, where he watches the activities there. In the evening he will relax in his chill out room with his iPad. Logan also enjoys bowling, which he goes to 1 day per week. Samuel is young man who loves watching WWE, going to the cinema or going out for something to eat. Enable needs  you and  your values to help us create an equal society for every person we support.
