Description
Lead the development and maintenance of the organisation's Medium-Term Financial Plan.
Coordinate and oversee the annual budget setting process.
Provide strategic financial advice to senior executives, leadership teams, and key stakeholders.
Support robust financial governance and effective decision-making across the organisation.
Manage and develop members of the financial planning and business partnering team.
Monitor key financial resources including reserves, provisions, and corporate budgets.
Lead statutory and government financial returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Contribute to major transformation programmes, business cases, and strategic projects.
Prepare high-profile financial reports for senior leadership and governance forums.
Deputise for senior finance leadership when required and represent the organisation at key meetings and external networks.
Profile
Strong experience in financial planning, budgeting, and financial management.
Exceptional stakeholder engagement and influencing skills.
Experience operating at a senior level and advising executive leaders.
A thorough understanding of governance, statutory reporting, and financial controls.
The ability to lead teams, drive performance, and develop talent.
Commercial acumen with experience supporting transformation, change, and investment decisions.
Excellent communication skills and the confidence to present complex financial information to both financial and non-financial audiences.
A proactive, solution-focused approach with the ability to navigate complex and evolving environments.
