Maintenance Technician Location: Manningtree Salary: £28,000- £32,000 Pin Point Recruitment is currently recruiting for a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician on behalf of a well-established agricultural and operational business based in Manningtree.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced maintenance professional with a strong mechanical background to join a busy and varied working environment supporting machinery, vehicles, buildings, and site infrastructure.
As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of site operations through planned servicing, reactive repairs, and preventative maintenance.
You will be responsible for maintaining machinery, vehicles, buildings, and site systems to minimise downtime and support operational efficiency across the business.
Key Responsibilities Maintenance & Repairs Carry out planned servicing, inspections, and reactive repairs on machinery and equipment Diagnose faults and complete repairs efficiently and effectively Perform machinery and vehicle maintenance and servicing Undertake building repairs and general structural maintenance Assist with the maintenance of site systems including heating and infrastructure Operational Support Support preventative maintenance schedules to reduce downtime Assist with sourcing and collecting parts when required Help maintain stock levels of maintenance supplies and parts Ensure maintenance tasks are completed within operational deadlines Quality & Standards Maintain machinery, vehicles, and equipment in a safe working condition Deliver high standards of workmanship and attention to detail Complete maintenance records and timesheets accurately and on time Teamwork & Communication Work closely with the maintenance team and other departments Communicate effectively to prioritise workloads and minimise disruption Support wider operational tasks across the business xwzovoh when required The ideal candidate will have: Previous experience in maintenance, mechanical engineering, plant maintenance, agricultural engineering, or a similar role Strong fault-finding and repair skills Experience working with machinery, vehicles, or site infrastructure Good practical problem-solving abilities Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong organisational and communication skills A proactive and safety-conscious approach Experience within agriculture, industrial maintenance, construction, or production environments would be advantageous.
