- Heybridge We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic, and dedicated Learning Support Assistant (LSA) / SEN Teaching Assistant to join supportive schools in Heybridge We welcome applicants with experience in Primary or Secondary education , as well as candidates with transferable skills and a passion for supporting children and young people with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
Key Responsibilities: Provide 1:1 and small-group support for pupils with SEN Support pupils with needs including Autism (ASC), ADHD, SEMH, speech and language difficulties, and learning needs Work closely with teachers and SENCOs to implement support plans Create a positive and inclusive learning environment Support behaviour management and student wellbeing Encourage confidence, independence, and progress We are looking for someone who: Has experience supporting children or young people in Primary or Secondary settings Has SEN experience or a strong interest in supporting additional needs Is patient, resilient, caring, and adaptable Desirable experience: LSA, Teaching Assistant, xwzovoh SEN support, mentoring, youth work, coaching, or care experience Understanding of EHCPs and SEN strategies Experience supporting ASD, ADHD, SEMH, or behavioural needs Safeguarding or SEN-related training What we offer: Supportive school environments Opportunities across Primary and Secondary settings Ongoing training and development
