Term time only (36 weeks) What we are looking for: Experience working with young people aged 11-16, particularly those with SEND and or SEMH needs Experience supporting students with EHCPs Experience in Alternative Provision or similar settings Calm, patient, resilient, and adaptable approach.
Ability to work in a small team Good organisation skills and confidence using IT for administrative tasks Good communication skills written and verbal.
Able to use your own initiative and make decisions GCSE or equivalent in Maths and English at grade C or above Duties/responsibilities: To provide learning support for bespoke groups of students aged 14 16 years who are attending the 14 16 Alternative Provision at Nescot.
To encourage the engagement, resilience, and positive learning behaviours of students in lessons so that they have a sense of achievement and assist them in re-engaging in education.
To provide support to individual students and small groups in lessons, vocational sessions and interventions.
To assist students in identifying a pathway for Post 16.
