- SEN School (SEMH), Ramsgate Are you a resilient, passionate, and engaging Teacher looking to make a lasting impact in a specialist education setting? A specialist SEN school in Ramsgate, supporting pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, is seeking a dedicated Classroom Teacher to join their team on a full-time basis.
This is a fantastic opportunity for Teachers who are committed to supporting young people who require additional emotional and behavioural support to achieve success both inside and outside the classroom.
The school provides a nurturing and structured environment where relationships, consistency, and positive engagement are at the heart of everything they do.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have: Classroom Teacher QTS or PGCE qualification Strong classroom and behaviour management skills A calm, patient, and resilient approach The ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff A genuine passion for supporting vulnerable young people SEN or SEMH experience is beneficial, but not essential The Role: Deliver engaging and differentiated lessons tailored to pupils' individual needs Create a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment Support pupils with emotional regulation and social development Work collaboratively with support staff, therapists, and senior leaders Encourage pupil confidence, independence, and academic progress Why Work Within SEMH Education? You will have the opportunity to: Make a genuine difference to pupils who need positive role models and consistency Build strong, meaningful relationships with students Work in smaller class settings with additional support staff Develop specialist skills in behaviour, trauma-informed practice, and SEN education Experience the satisfaction of seeing pupils overcome barriers and achieve personal milestones Classroom Teacher
