Unit Manager – Diagnostic Service Northampton £We’re looking for an experienced Unit Manager to take the lead at a busy diagnostic imaging service in Northampton. This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a highly autonomous role where you’ll be responsible for the overall performance of the unit, leading the team, driving growth, and ensuring a high-quality, patient-focused service. You’ll work closely with internal teams, external stakeholders, and referrers, playing a key role in both the operational success and future development of the service. Leading the day-to-day running of the diagnostic unit Driving service performance, growth, and patient outcomes Building and maintaining strong relationships with referrers and stakeholders Monitoring referral trends and identifying opportunities for growth Managing budgets, costs, and financial performance Ensuring effective stock control and resource management Overseeing operational processes and maintaining service quality Proven experience in a management or operational leadership role Commercially aware with a good understanding of performance and growth Experience managing teams within a healthcare or operational environment PET CT or Nuclear Medicine experience Strong financial awareness and budget management experience Ability to analyse performance data and drive improvements Experience within diagnostic imaging or healthcare services Experience supporting business development or contract growth
