Lead Software Engineer Bristol - Hybrid £We are working with an industry leading organisation in Bristol who are looking for a Lead Software Engineer to join the company at a time of transformation. It's a senior individual contributor role, a technical lead role, and a line manager role, in roughly equal parts. You'll report to the Head of Software Development and work alongside other Lead Engineers to keep engineering practice consistent across the wider team. Lead on the team's harder and higher-risk engineering work yourself Own code quality and reliability for the systems your team builds Manage technical debt and steer the long-term direction of your team's codebase Line-manage up to four engineers - 1:1s, performance and development Mentor engineers inside and outside your immediate team Lead agile ceremonies, planning and estimation with your team A track record of shipping complex, production-ready software with minimal oversight Substantial commercial experience with .NET (C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core) Experience with SQL Server Experience designing and building RESTful APIs Front-end experience with Angular and TypeScript / JavaScript / HTML / CSS Experience working in an agile environment, including Scrum Azure Cosmos DB Please apply for a confidential chat.
