About the role
Role- Combat Systems Engineer
Location- Bristol
Role Type- 12 month contract
Rate- £50.00 per hour Inside IR35
Key Requirements
▪️ Degree in Marine Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or similar
▪️ Chartered Engineer (or equivalent experience with strong CPD evidence)
▪️ 5+ years’ experience in warship electric propulsion systems
▪️ Strong experience in design development, requirements capture, and Defence Standards
Proven ability to deliver high-quality technical reports to tight deadlines
Desirable Experience
▪️ Integrated Full Electric Propulsion (IFEP) systems
▪️ Naval design studies and ship acquisition programmes
▪️ Stakeholder engagement and system requirements definition
▪️ Technical risk identification and management
