Job Title - Weekend Maintenance Engineer
Location - Wigston, Leicester
Salary - Up to £53,000
Shift: Weekend Days - Friday, Saturday & Sunday (5:45am - 5:45pm)
Job Role of the Weekend Maintenance Engineer
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established and high-performing manufacturing business. This role is ideal for an engineer seeking a compressed working week while remaining in a fast-paced, technically challenging environment.
You will play a key role in maintaining production efficiency across the site, carrying out both electrical and mechanical maintenance. Responsibilities will include responding to breakdowns, delivering planned preventative maintenance, and contributing to ongoing continuous improvement activities across machinery and equipment.
Sector - Industrial Manufacturing
Non-Negotiable Requirements of the Weekend Maintenance Engineer
Proven multi-skilled maintenance experience within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
Strong background in reactive, preventative, and breakdown maintenance within a fast-paced setting.
Essential Requirements for the Weekend Maintenance Engineer
Electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills.
Recognised engineering qualification (Electrical or Mechanical).
Experience maintaining production or process machinery.
Desirable Requirements for the Weekend Maintenance Engineer
Previous experience working as a Maintenance Engineer within the UK.
Experience working with PLC systems, with the ability to fault-find using inputs and outputs.
